Payment Policy

We accept the following payment methods through our secure payment processor, Stripe:
- Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards
- Apple Pay and Google Pay (where supported by your device and browser)
- SEPA Direct Debit (EU bank accounts)
- Bank transfer (selected orders — contact us)
2. Payment Processing
All card and bank payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment service provider. Musės Shop does not store, transmit, or process raw card data on its own servers. Your payment details are encrypted and securely handled by Stripe.
3. Currency
All prices are displayed and charged in EUR (Euro). If your card is issued in a different currency, your bank or card issuer applies the conversion at their current exchange rate, which may include a foreign-transaction fee. We do not control or take responsibility for those charges.
4. VAT and Tax
Prices displayed on the Platform include Lithuanian VAT (21%) where applicable. For buyers in other EU countries the applicable local VAT rate may apply. VAT invoices/receipts are available from your order history. Sellers are responsible for their own tax compliance; Musės provides DAC7-compliant annual reporting to tax authorities for qualifying sellers.
5. Payment Security
We use HTTPS encryption across the entire Platform. Payment forms load within a Stripe-hosted iframe to ensure your data never passes through our servers. We strongly recommend never sharing your card details via email or chat.
6. Marketplace Escrow
When you pay for an order, funds are held by Musės in a marketplace escrow arrangement until the order is fulfilled and any applicable refund window has passed. Sellers are paid out on a regular schedule thereafter. This protects you as a buyer and ensures sellers receive timely payment.
7. Failed Payments
If your payment fails, you will be informed immediately and your order will not be placed. Common causes include insufficient funds, incorrect card details, or 3D Secure authentication failure. Please try again or use an alternative payment method. If you continue to experience issues, contact your bank or our support at support@muses.lt.
