Refund Policy

1. Your Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform both us and the relevant seller of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax, or email) before the 14-day withdrawal period expires. You may contact us at support@muses.lt or use the seller's contact details shown on your order confirmation.

3. Returns Process

  • Contact us at support@muses.lt to initiate a return, including your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
  • We will provide return instructions. In most cases you return directly to the seller.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item was delivered damaged, defective, or incorrectly described.
  • Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging where possible.

4. Refunds

We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return dispatch (whichever is earlier). Refunds are made via the original payment method. The platform holds funds in escrow until refund disputes are resolved — see our Dispute Resolution Policy for how we mediate refund disputes between buyers and sellers.

5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom or personalised items made to your specifications (e.g. custom fly patterns tied to your brief)
  • Items that deteriorate rapidly or have a limited shelf life
  • Sealed goods that have been opened and cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons
  • Digital downloads that have been accessed after delivery

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of receipt at support@muses.lt with photos. We will arrange a return, replacement, or full refund at no cost to you, in accordance with your statutory rights.

7. Marketplace Note

Because Musės is a marketplace, refunds for individual seller orders are processed by Musės and credited from escrow. Sellers are required to honour these terms as a condition of selling on the platform. Last updated: 13 May 2026.
