Seller Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

To sell on Musės Shop you must: (a) be at least 18 years old; (b) be a natural person or legally registered business; (c) comply with all applicable laws in your country of residence or business registration; (d) be approved by Musės following the application process.

2. Seller Obligations

• List only items that you have created yourself or have the legal right to sell.
• Provide accurate descriptions, photographs, and stock levels for every listing.
• Dispatch ordered items within your stated lead time.
• Respond to buyer enquiries within 3 business days.
• Process returns and refunds in accordance with the Musės Refund Policy.
• Comply with all applicable consumer protection, distance selling, and import/export laws.

4. Commission and Fees

Musės charges a platform commission of 12% + VAT on the sale price (excluding shipping) for each completed transaction. Payment processing fees charged by Stripe are deducted separately (typically 1.4%–2.9% + €0.25 per transaction, depending on card type). Fee rates may be updated with 30 days' notice to sellers.

5. Payouts

Seller earnings, net of commission and payment processing fees, are transferred to your registered bank account or Stripe Connected Account on the payout schedule set out in your Seller Agreement. Funds are held in escrow until the buyer's refund window has passed or any open disputes are resolved.

6. DAC7 Tax Reporting

Musės complies with the EU DAC7 Directive (Council Directive 2021/514/EU). We are required to collect and verify your tax identification information and to report qualifying seller income to the Lithuanian tax authority (VMI) annually. You will be asked to provide your personal tax identification number (TIN), VAT number (if applicable), and bank account details. Failure to provide accurate information may result in account suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

By listing a product, you confirm that: (a) you own or have a licence to use all IP in the listing content (photos, descriptions, product designs); (b) the product and its listing do not infringe any third-party IP rights; (c) you grant Musės a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your listing content to operate and promote the Platform.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your seller account without notice if you: (a) materially breach these Terms; (b) receive multiple buyer complaints; (c) engage in fraudulent activity; (d) list Prohibited Items. On termination, any outstanding seller balance will be paid out after any pending disputes are resolved, subject to deduction of amounts owed to Musės.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Seller Terms. Continued use of the Platform after 30 days' notice constitutes acceptance. Last updated: 13 May 2026.
